BX-03 5 foot door DS rebuild box car

Between 1924 and 1929 the CPR rebuild 5 foot door double sheath box cars as the 195000-197999 series with steel center sill, Murphy steel roof and 6/7 Murphy steel ends.

The 195000-197000 series had a surprisingly long life with the last revenue cars delisted in 1962. Many were reassigned to non-revenue service in the 400000 series and operated for many years.

This kit includes one piece body, underframe, details, metal ladders, steps and decals. You provide wire, trucks and couplers.
